Denver’s Best Spots for Valentine’s Day 2019

February 1, 2019 by Amy Cesario

What does your date want to do on Valentine’s day in Denver?

Romantic date night? Or something fun? It’s hard to ignore the holiday so whether you want to go out with your significant other this Valentine’s Day, or if you are avoiding the holiday entirely and plan on staying cozy on the couch, I’ve got you covered!

Here are a few of my favorite romantic and fun things to do in Denver with your significant other, best friend, or family.

See a Game!

Does your Valentine like sports? Surprise them with a game – the Denver Nuggets play on the 11th and the 13th and are participating in the All-Star Games over the weekend. If you want tickets, call Aaron Maldanado 303-451-3304 he can help.

Of course, I wouldn’t leave out the Avalanche – they play on the 12th and the 16th, the main number 303-405-1100.

If you aren’t a person to call, you can purchase online:

Explore Art Museums

Clyfford Still | Museum – “Celebrate love at the Clyfford Still Museum on Thursday, February 14. Bring your special someone for a visit and receive our poster of Still’s beautiful PH-385—currently on view in our new installation—for free. Visitors who purchase tickets in advance receive discounted entry: use code “CLYFF” for $2 off each Adult admission.”

Museum of Contemporary Art Denver – “Wachob will be in residence tattooing human subjects in her galleries from February 15–21. All of the tattooing slots have been filled so no, you can’t get a tattoo, but yes, you can watch her work. So get your ticket now.”

Denver Art Museum – “Dior: From Paris to the World surveys 70 years of the House of Dior’s enduring legacy and its global influence. A selection of 150 couture dresses, as well as accessories, costume jewelry, photographs, drawings, runway videos, and other archival material, will trace the history of the iconic haute couture fashion house, its founder, Christian Dior, and the subsequent artistic directors who carried Dior’s vision into the 21st century.”

Try a New Restaurant

What better time than Valentine’s Day should you and your significant other (or family!) go outside your comfort zone and try new food?

I recommend Ultreia at Union Station, Narrative in Cherry Creek, Officer’s Club in Lowry, or Izakaya Den in Platt Park.

I’m no expert in finding the love of your life.

I can help you find a home you love…
