What’s My Background?

I am as Denver as it gets… I am all but born here. I was raised in the city and selling real estate here for almost 20 years…Denver is my home. I am a city person at my very core. I live in the Washington Park neighborhood, ride my scooter daily (well…a lot) but only in good weather, people-watch on patios, and love to explore the newest parts of our evolving city. When I was a teenager, I wanted to go live in a Big City, in the way that meant at the time. Today, I recognize that my home, my Denver, has the best of the big city life without being the Big City.

My personal passion blossomed alongside my professional path. In the decade of helping relocate Denver Nuggets’ players, coaches and their families to Denver, I learned to understand their needs and goals. We worked hand-in-hand to make this their home, however long their contract.

Helping Shape the City

Today my livelihood is Denver’s urban core, and I’ve played an active part in its development in the last couple of decades. While serving on the Denver Metro Association of Realtor’s Board of Directors for three years and as Vice Chair of their Government Affairs Committee, I had a hand in many zoning changes in the early 2000s. This helped shape my goals for the city and provide me with a foundation for understanding others’ visions for their neighborhoods. As the city evolves, I keep an eye on neighborhoods, blocks, and districts, seeking to understand the best possible environment for my clients today and beyond.

Real estate decisions are all lifestyle decisions. Empty-nesters are fun partners for me. I am here to help you plan your next phase, be it a second home, a relocation to a new part of town, or a move to a more maintenance-free home that makes travel easier and safer.

Recently a client called me “The Organic Broker.” I accept that. I believe things happen naturally. The more you push, the more you get pushed back. Once you open your mind, know what you want, and stop worrying about the “how”…then what you want begins to fall into place. This is where I step in – to help you grab that opportunity and run with it. I am your coach throughout the process – helping you stay focused, remember your goals, discover your priorities, then make it happen.
