Mondays are pretty routine for me I don’t schedule appointments because I take the day to check my numbers, how many showings on each listing, how many hits on their sites, how is feedback etc.  It is normally a morning of computer work.  After I check out each property I call or email my clients for our weekly check in.

After that was done, and I started searching for property for buyers and then a few other routine things. Then I began wondering how I was going to tie in a topic that I wanted to introduce to you.  Hence, the photo of the pipes, hang in here I will get to the introduction.

As I was making dinner my pipes backed up.  Yep, Mexican squash, garlic and onion cooking, hot water boiling and as I was washing up and running the garbage disposal, up came the crap…well, the food…whatever it was stuck in the pipe and there I was standing in a puddle of water, head pounding and hungry…and alone, I mean single and definitely not feeling sexy.

I’m so very lucky to have the best dad in the whole world! You think he came to fix it right? No.  I haven’t told him about it yet. You see, I pretty much fixed everything in my house even when I was married for those couple of years because my dad taught me how to do it. (Unless I just want help, then I call my dad or my brother.)  I had that pipe, the floor and the inside of the cabinet cleaned and drained by the time my pasta was ready.  I’m not bragging, I am just feeling lucky that I can do it in a pinch situation. But I know a lot of people (including my first husband…I intend on having another one) wouldn’t have known where to start.

Back to what I wanted to talk about earlier today.
