Street sweeping in Denver starts in April and continues through November. Not all streets are swept once a month but before you walk away from your car check the street signs. The dates of restriction vary from block to block throughout the city.
You can sign up on pocketgov.org for an automatic reminder of your street sweeping dates. Or you can put a reminder on your calendar. Either way, take it from me, the weeks go fast and that little yellow envelop will start your day off on the wrong foot.
I looked up the street sweeping parking ticket prices for 2018 and it says it will be $50 again this year.
If it looks like the street is clean the city can come back to sweep or write a ticket.
The city will write tickets between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Denver parking laws can be tricky, click here to read more about a few of my favorite parking laws to save yourself some money.
Hoping you enjoy the summer without any parking tickets!
