The Coloradan is a condominium building in the Union Station neighborhood and heart of downtown Denver. This award-winning building was built to be a fabulous community. The Coloradan is more than just a place to live.
The Coloradan Residences:
- 334 homes
- 33 homes are part of the Denver Affordable program
- 7 homes are penthouses
Homes at The Coloradan start with a smart and efficient 486 square foot studios and have many floorplans in between up to the largest penthouse with 3,225 square feet of pure modern elegance.
A few of my favorite interior features:
- Every home has a minimum one window or door that opens for fresh air.
- Each home has fantastic wall space for art.
- The finishes are simple and timeless.
- Wood floors and wool carpet.
- A gas stovetop with a hood that vents out of the building.
- The is a central air system that continually cleans the air.
- The thermostat is a nest.
Building features:
The Coloradan has 19 floors. The first level is public, you’ll find great energy from the retailers, restaurants, bars. The art gallery, Union Hall, is the first of it’s kind! Designed to be a community gathering space and elevate the Denver cultural scene.
On level 1.5 the building transitions from public space to the homeowners common area. This floor is where you’ll find the reception desk, mailroom, library and state-of-the-art workout facility.
Level 18 is home to the party room. You’ll find several sitting areas, televisions, a fireplace, bar area, foosball, pool, and shuffleboard. The pool, hot tub, firepit, grills, picnic tables, cabanas, and sun chairs fill the deck on the south side of that floor.
There is a community garden on level 5 and a super cool bicycle room (watch the video to see it for yourself).
The Coloradan Community:
Speaking of community, there are lots of clubs in The Coloradan. They range from the gardening club to a ski club, poker, wine, and bike club. I’m sure as the community flourishes there will be others.
Homeowners started moving into the building in March of 2019. The last home sold by the developer closed in February 2020, what an exciting experience that was to watch!
The Coloradan is the only building with homes for sale in the Union Station Neighborhood.
Parking at The Coloradan:
Parking is available. The spaces are not owned, they are leased monthly from a third party. Parking is not included in the price of the home and is not available for purchase nor is it run by the HOA. The parking fees are market rate and flexible and gest parking is also available, daily or monthly.
