Wherefore art thou Michelangelo?

February 9, 2011 by Amy Cesario

If I have time before a yoga nooner, I love to stop at Michelangelo’s Coffee and Wine Bar for coffee and a panini. Many times while ordering, I wonder if I could do the yoga class if I had a panini and Peroni.

So, yes, I like the coffee, it is an easy meeting place, there is almost always easy parking (only a quarter per hour).  It’s cozy, with couches and many tables and chairs. I’ve only been here for wine a few times, they have a great wine list and a great happy hour.  They even have an Italian language meetup group on Monday evenings!

There is more than plenty o’ people watching inside and out.  If it’s not cold you’ll find me in the corner on the patio.  There is just something about Broadway, it’s eclectic, it’s lively, someday’s it is surprising.  I’m not sure why I am surprised by some of the things I see on Broadway, but that is what I love about it, you just never know!

Michelangelo’s is at 1 Broadway (the cross street is Elsworth Avenue)

Of course there is free WiFi.
