Our Denver MLS has gone through a major overhaul and we (agents) are finally able to see the results, which means you will too soon!

On the back-end, the agents have been able to see what is coming for the past couple weeks. We are on track to be able to list houses in a much more modern fashion which will allow us to better market your house and help us build better searches for buyers and their agents.

Our office managers and assistants are still inputting listing into the old system and this week our websites (that are linked with IDX search engines) are seeing a few minor problems with one system not translating exactly the same but I am confident that these problems will soon be fixed. If it worked perfectly I would be worried that enough changes weren’t made.  As I go through the new fields and categories, I am wishing there were a few more, and am hoping that once the old system is shut down it will be easier to add fields as our market changes.

It has been a long time coming. Although change will be hard for some and the transition will cause a little angst, I am so glad the change didn’t happen this past summer or spring when our housing market changed so quickly. I’m hoping for a quick sunset on the old system and let’s move forward quickly without looking back!
