Things to Do in Denver
Week of October 4 – 10
The week was filled with lot’s of surprises in Cherry Creek, Downtown Denver, Washington Park and South Broadway.
Monday Morning Coffee at one of my favorite places. Aviano’s in Cherry Creek has such a Italian and European feel. I order the regular coffee and they brew each cup individually. My business partners and I were brewing up some new business opportunities for each other as well. I was surprised when the two of them had 3 deals they were going to work on together by the end of the day!
Cruising through the Washington Park neighborhood I saw this garage door. It’s copper! I didn’t get out and touch it, so I’m not sure how it was constructed but it sure is pretty!! The house isn’t currently for sale, but it sure is a headturner from the alley.
I had a surprise message from Reggie Slater that he was coming to see his son, so we had a quick lunch on his way! Can’t believe our kids are grown up, we were their age when he played for the Denver Nuggets in the 90s!

East West Partners is our “sister” company, they developed most of the Riverfront Park neighborhood, Union Station, many other places across the country and this is the latest building in Denver. Union Station in Denver had their first Harvest Market. It was great! It looked like the central downtown Denver neighborhood looked like they enjoyed it as well, walking away with armfulls of flowers, pumpkins, plants, vegetables. There was a band playing on Wewatta plaza and people sitting talking enjoying! It was a perfect 80 degree day!
The week ended at Gozo, with neighbors. Gozo is one of my favorite places, great food, great service and there are always friends there. As we were walking over to the restaurant, we picked up a few other neighbors on the way. Look for my post next week on Gozo, they started a fantastic new brunch on Saturday’s with a DJ. I’m putting together a little group to eat and enjoy the morning, message me if you want to join us!
