Total Single Family Homes Under Contract in the Metro Denver Area:
March 2012: 4,328 March 2011: 2,887
Total number of properties (houses and condos) For Sale:
March 2012: 10,325 March 2011: 17,707
The Absorption Rate (Average of how long is takes to get a house sold). It is taking HALF the time to get a house under contract. Why? We have pent up Buyer demand, and sellers are pricing their house right coupled with getting the house in showing condition before putting it on the market.
