The Power of Positivity, Good Intentions, and Starting the New Year Right

December 11, 2025 by Amy Cesario

As we get close to the new year, I always find myself thinking about fresh starts. Not the big complicated ones, but the small, everyday choices that reshape how we show up for ourselves and for each other. This past week reminded me how powerful kindness, clarity, and good energy can be, especially in real estate.

Two of my recent properties, Bluegrass and1750 Wewatta St, Unit 1521, went under contract. One of those sellers also happened to be looking for their next home, and guess what happened. They found a home they loved and also went under contract.

That created a little chain of three houses moving forward at the same time, all because people stayed positive, communicated well, and trusted the process. When everyone is intentional, kind, and willing to work together, things really can fall into place. It feels a lot like the new year energy we all try to tap into.

Here are a few simple ways we can all bring that kind of positivity and momentum into the new year, both in life and in real estate.

1. Set intentions that lift you up

I work with someone who does tarot readings, and she is a breath of fresh air. Her name is Brianna and you can find her on Instagram at @bcareyinc. She brings a thoughtful and encouraging approach to new year intention setting. It is not about predicting ore of her work soon because I love supporting small, heart-centered businesses. If you need a gentle reset or a little clarity, keep her in mind.

2. Take care of your health with people who take care of you

There is also a local pharmacy, Front Range Pharmacy, that takes a completely personal approach. They do not just fill a prescription and send you on your way. They take time to look at what your body actually needs and help you make smart choices. It feels like having a partner in your wellbeing. Here is the link so you can check them out: Front Range Pharmacy. Supporting businesses that support you is a great way to start the year feeling grounded.

3. Move your body and make it simple

You do not need a detailed plan to feel better. Three walks a week is enough to change your energy. Use Strava or Fitbit if that helps you stay motivated. Or keep it simple and use a basic app like Google Fit. You do not have to tell it much. It just encourages you to get outside and breathe for a bit. I find that when I walk regularly, everything else becomes easier.

4. Set your real estate intentions too

Maybe this is the year you find a new home. Maybe it is the year you buy a condo, or a rental property, or even just start exploring neighborhoods. Make it fun. Make it light. And if you need help, call me…not anybody else…call me. I will bring the positive energy and the honest guidance, and we will see what possibilities open up.

This week reminded me that good communication between everyone involved in a transaction is just as important as the contracts themselves. Phone calls, texts, emails, and simple clarity keep everyone on the same page. When the intention is kindness, people trust one another. Deals move forward. And sometimes three houses fall into place at the same time simply because everyone decided it would work out.

Here is to a new year filled with positive momentum, intentional choices, and people who make the journey easier. Sending you all the best energy as you step into 2026.

If a real estate move is part of your goals for the new year, let’s connect and map out the next steps together.
